Chrysler Repair: 94 Voyager 3.0L air filter hose, voyager 3, filter hose

Question
Hi Roland, thanks for your help yesterday on my timing question!!  The garage that changed the timing belt had it way too advanced after they installed the distributor a bit off, and I had to crank the distributor all the way to one side to get the timing back.  Much appreciated!  ANYWAY, my question is about the 2 hoses going into the left side of air filter housing (the passenger side).  One is from the PCV, and that goes into the top inlet, but the hose right below that just seems to go nowhere.  Is that correct?  None of my service manuals show it in a drawing.

Answer
Hi John,
The drawing is a bit schematic but it appears to me that if this is a long hose that its far end should go to the fuel vapor capture system's solenoid that is located on the passenger side, in front of the strut tower, near the AC in-line capsule with the view window. I'll be sending you the diagram and that may be the best way to find where the hose goes.
