Chrysler Repair: Oil Pressure Sending Unit: Torque spec, oil pressure sending unit, torque specification

I need to replace the Oil Pressure Sending Unit on a 1994 LHS. Do you know what the torque specification is?

Hi Dale,
On the 3.3L the manual shows that to be 60 inch-pounds (e.g. 5 foot-pounds). If this sending unit has tapered threads and you have the 3.5L engine then I would believe it is the same spec for that one, though it is not listed.
You want to be very careful with such threads as they can crack the metal around the hole into which they are being inserted, so use of a torque wrench is well-advised.
