Answer
Hi Alex,
Without having a fob that is already programmed into the body computer the only way to do a new one is with a Diagnostic Readout Box that plugs into a socket under the dash near the steering wheel. I don't know whether the aftermarket readers will do the job; if not then you will have to go to a dealer or find a shop with a Chrysler DRB unit to have one of the fob's programmed. Once you have one done, you can program the other one by yourself (if for example there is a charge to do the second one that you would like to avoid). Write me back when you have one of the them programmed and I can tell you the procedure based on a '98 manual for the LH cars; but I can't be certain that it is applicable to your car. So you may want to let them do both, unless the charge for the second one is the same as for the first (e.g. you have to pay twice) in which case let's give it a try ourselves.
