Chrysler Repair: Boat trailer hitch, chrysler sebring, type hitch

Question
Is it feasible to install a trailer hitch on the front of a 2001 Chrysler Sebring, as well as the rear?   I have an issue with backing up a boat trailer, due to health reasons.  I know this is a little off subject, but I really would like to know.

Hi Ron,
I am not much of an expert on hitches, but I would imagine that the available front cross-member structural attachment points are no different in terms of strength than those at the rear for a class 1 type hitch. Those rear hitch points don't appear to be reinforced for that purpose.  I suspect though that it would have to be designed and fabricated as a "one off" and that would not be inexpensive. A visit to a hitch fabricator/installer is probably your best bet. I am assuming that you don't intend to drive at the speed limit with the boat in front :)
