Chrysler Repair: timing 98 dodge intrepid, cam chains, piston valve

Question
I replaced the timing chain in a 98 dodge intrepid 2.7 liter
The book isn't real clear on how to set the timing any hints? also can the 3.3 and 3.5 liter motors be swapped without changing the computer?

Answer
One of the hardest chain set ups there are. There are links on the chain that are a different color. You line those up with the marks on the gears.Same with the cam chains.Make sure you closely follow the directions on how to set the tensioner. You should use a new tensioner as well.If it is not done properly you will have piston valve interface.Other words you will bend valves on the first rotation with the starter.
The pcm will not work as well as the the pcm from the donor car. They have the vin and secret key info burned into them and it can not be changed. There will be other items that won't work as well.
