Chrysler Repair: chrysler sebring 2001, chrysler sebring, cam sensor

Question
Did a diagnostic, said camshaft sensor. Replace it and it still will not start.  Do I have to clear it? I was driving on the freeway and accelerated  and no power and shut off.  What else could I check?

Answer
It will store a can sensor code when it does not see a pulse from the cam sensor. There could be a couple of reasons why. Cam sensor,Wiring to the cam sensor,And most importantly the cam isn't moving because the timing belt broke.(if this is a 4 cylinder)If its a 2.7 v6 you would have heard alot of noise when the chain broke.
