how can you get a elect window up, when the motor won't run. thank you.

Hi Don,
Most of the power windows are not designed to be operated other than by the electric motor, so you have to examine the situation at the door motor to see why it isn't working. It could be the motor itself, it could by the operating switch, it could be the wires between the two. So if you will tell me the year and model of the vehicle in question I might be able to give you some direction as to how to figure out what is wrong.
Tell me, do you have a volt-ohm meter to do some circuit testing?
