Chrysler Repair: ac blower only runs on Hi, swich, resistor

Question
ac blower only works on hi.I Replace resistor and the head ac swich and sill only works on hi.

Answer
Hi Orlando,
Please tell me the year, model, the type the AC head unit (conventional or digital ATC), and whether you replaced the entire head unit or just the switch for the blower. When you replaced the resistor, did you get a new one or one from a wreck? If from a wreck, did you check to see whether that one might have also been blown? When you installed the resistor block, whether new or from a wreck, did you separate the coils gently so they wern't touching oneanother? The 'hi only' behavior is usually due to a failed resistor block, but getting one from a wreck requires that you check that it reading low ohms on all the pins as measured from the pin that is attached to the plug's black/tan wire and the other 3 pins that have wires attached at the plug. It could be that you got a bad resistor block from the wreck if that was your source.
So let me know.
