Chrysler Repair: 2001 T & C Rear Brake Caliper removal, rear disc brakes, brake caliper removal

Question
I have a 2001 Chrysler Town and Country with both front and rear disc brakes.  I changed the front brake pads easy enough.  I don't see how the rear brake calipers come off to replace the pads.  The rear brakes are integrated into the whole wheel assembly.  The only possibility I see is to remove the guide pins.  Can you tell me how to remove the caliper to replace the pads?

Answer
Hi Mike,
My experience is limited on van brakes but there is no distinction between front and rear calipers made in the Haynes manual that I have which covers thru the 2000 model. It shows the need to remove the guide pins to change the pads. I wish I could add some insight for your '01 model but I don't have anything to offer. If you don't have a Haynes for your van it may be a good investment. Please let me know if you learn a trick that I can share.
