Roland        I would just like to know where the speed sensors are located on a 1999 chyrsler cirrus are located any help would be welomed thank you                                        Daniel Pare

Answer
Hi Daniel,
The input turbine speed sensor and the output shaft speed sensor are located on the side of the trans that faces the front of the car, about the midline height level of the trans. The output speed sensor is located just to the left (driver's side of the car) of the base of the vertical rod to which the shifter cable is attached, while the input turbine sensor is at the same level but displaced further to the right of the rod (actually immediately to the left of the dipstick tube base). They have a very similar appearance and they share a common wire color for one of their two wires (dark blue/brown) while the other wire for the turbine sensor is orange/yellow while that for the output shaft sensor is light green/violet. So that is another way to identify them. Those colors were used in '96 for which I have the manual, so I can't guarantee they will be exactly the same in your '99.
