Chrysler Repair: 1990 Lebaron electrical, starter relay, lebaron

Question
Hi, everything started to work this morning than it went out again. Now i cant get anything except for what i said. The car has a push button start in it because the regular ignition dont work. You have to turn the ignition on first. Dont know if that whole deal could be a problem or not. Checked all fuses and all were good and secure. When i checked the fuses sockets the interior lights the radio and the dash were all dead. Everything else worked fine. I am not sure what you are talking about up by the battery? I found a gray harness with solid color wires but that didnt do any good. If you have any suggestions let me know that would be deeply appreciated. Thanks again          Nick

Answer
If the radio is totally dead, then also check the wipers to see if they are also. If so, then the black/white wire from the ignition switch to fuse 13 and fuse 4 is not getting supplied by the ignition switch (check those two fuses to see if each has 12V one or the other of its pins (and of course with the fuse in place on both pins of the fuse socket). I suspect that the ignition switch is the problem because the same section of the switch that activates the starter relay also activates the radio and wipers when it is in the "run" position. Maybe you need to replace the ignition switch.
