Chrysler Repair: speed sensor, electronic automatic transmission, plymouth breeze

need to know the location of the speed sensor on a 1999 plymouth breeze (expresso). and how to change it.

Hi Scott,
I assume that you have 4 speed electronic automatic transmission (has D and OD positions). The output speed sensor is located on the side of the trans that faces the front of the car, at the very far end of the powertrain, just to the right of vertical lever and cable that shifts the transmission (as viewed fron the front of the car). It has a 3-wire plug: white/orange, orange, and black/light blue.
