Chrysler Repair: 1990 Dodge Daytona, dodge daytona, 1990 dodge daytona

Question
My horn is not working.  I bought a new relay but I can't get to it.  What is the easiest way?

Answer
Hi Eustace,
I am not sure whether you don't know where it is located or you do it but you physically cannot reach it.
It is located on the panel next to your left shin when you are seated in driver seat. It is called the cowl panel. You will need to open the door all the way, kneel at the opening, and turn your head to the left after moving the upper part of your body into the interior of the car. You may be able to locate it by feel: The horn relay is the forwardmost one in the top row of relays (there are 6 rows of relays). Notice which way the pins are oriented when you remove it and you should then be able to reinsert the new relay by feel. If this is not clear to you, or you aren't certain the relay is the problem, let me know and I can tell you how to test the circuit. Tell me what you have been able to check (such as the circuit breaker in fuse block position #3) so far and I can tell you how to check the rest of the circuit.
