Chrysler Repair: changing bulb, manual roland, chrysler voyager

Question
How do I get to the front head lamp bulb to change it? This is on a Chrysler Voyager 2003

Answer
Hi Dale,
Your year model is a bit newer than I have information about but if the design didn't change after 2000 then I believe that you need to remove the full-width panel that is found above the radiator (between the top of the grille and the radiator) so as to get access to the headlamp housing that is hidden beneath it. You should see a headlamp holder in the rear of the headlamp module that you remove by turning it counterclockwise and pulling out. Bulb then is removable from that holder by pulling its base out of the holder. When installing the new bulb be sure not to touch the glass as any oily residue from your skin can cause the bulb glass to fail when it is turned on. You can clean off he bulb surface with alcohol if it gets a finger print on it by accident. It doesn't appear that you will need to remove the headlamp housing from the body to do this change out, but again I'm working with the '95-2000 Hanes van manual.
