Chrysler Repair: 2000 Concord thermostat housing, 7l, thermostat

Question
What is the procedure for replacing the thermostat housing on a 2000 Concord with the 2.7 engine? A shop replaced the radiator to stop a leak and it still leaks. He now says it is a cracked thermostat housing causing the leak. I can not see any water under or around the part of the housing that is visable but can see it running down the side of the motor from underneath. Could this be something more than the thermostat housing?
Thanks

Answer
Hi Landon,
I am sorry to have to report that I am not familiar with the 2.7L engine's thermostat housing. I looked in my 2.7L powertrain manual for a drawing which would show it but had no luck. I would cetainly begin by checking out that as the cause of a leak because it is inexpensive compared to other things that could cause a leak in that area. It appears to be a bit buried but take your time and it should be something you can do yourself. I wish I could give you more advice.
