Chrysler Repair: chrysler voyager automatic door, chrysler voyager, power supply connector

Question
Hi Roland,

I have problems with the automatic rear door of a Chrysler Voyager Town&Country 2005. The left door functions properly, the right door was once stuck and since then doest open or close electrically. There are electronic circuits in both doors, both working properly. I can measure no voltage on the power supply connector of the right door, but there is 12 Volt on the left door. There is one fuse for both doors and it's ok. Are there any other fuses, one for each door, hidden somewhere else in the car?

Answer
Hi Michael,
Unfortunately none of my manuals cover power rear doors on the van line so I don't have a circuit diagram for your situation. If the wire color codes going into the doors are identical but they share a common power source then I would be inclined to check down stream from the source and find out where the power is getting lost on its way to the left dooror or its interior wiring. There are no doubt disconnects near the door that could be probed for dissimilarities.
I wish I could be of more help, but at least you have the t wo sides to compare to oneanother.
Roland
