Chrysler Repair: 1990 new yorker landau 3.3l v6 hard start / throttle hesitation, throttle position sensor, yorker landau

Question
My 1990 chrysler new yorker landau 3.3l v6 is having a hard time starting, and when it does, it runs rough sometimes (like it's missing a cylinder) but the bigger problem is that  it hesitates when you press the throttle, I did the ignition diagnostic, and I got a code 38, but I can't seam to find out what that means anywhere.

Thanks for your help.

Answer
Hi Aaron,
Did you try to read the codes again? There is no limit on trying. None of the codes end in 8 so there is something strange going on. Did you also get a 55 code? which means end of readout.
The reasons for stumbling when accelerating are:
fouled spark plugs
clogged fuel filter
injector electronic circuit-Code 27
throttle position sensor has dead spot-Code 24
fuel vapor collection system leaking-Code 31
alternator output low or too high-Code 46 or 47

But I would keep trying to get a valid code. Let me know what you get when you try it again, and whether you got a code 55.
