Chrysler Repair: chrysler labaron engine 2.2, chrysler labaron, snail mail

Im taking the engine out ,and I need to know if I have to take the engine and trans out together just to get the engine out.This is my first time.

Hi Eugene,
According to the Chrysler shop manual the engine and trans do not need to be removed together. I would recommend that you have a copy of the details of that manual when you do the removal so as to not get into any difficulties unnecessarily. I don't have a scanner so I can't send it to you by email, but I could xerox and snail mail it to you.
So let me know the year of your LeBaron and a postal mailing address and I'll send it to you today.
I haven't done this job on my LeBaron yet, so I can't give you any experience based suggestions.
