Question
Will a TCM from a 97 caravan with a 3.8 engine work on a 97 caravan with a 3.3 litre engine?

Hi Perry,
The best suggestion I have is to go to a Chrysler dealer parts counter and see if the two TCM's have the same part number. If not, then they won't interchange very well, even if they have the same wire assigments on their plugs. The internal control settings of the two would be likely different because of the different engines, if not the gearing of the transmissions. But if they have the same part numbers it would be o.k. to exchange them.
