Chrysler Repair: alternators, nippondenso, case numbers

Question
are the alternators from a 1991 lebaron with a 3.0 and a 1992 new yorker with a 3.3 interchangeable?
also on the map sensor question previuosly i got a reading of 4.89 ohms and a reading of 1.29 volts  at idle and there was no flucuation when revved or snapped as you put it.  so it's obvious to me that the map sensor is bad.  i do appreciate your help on this. so thank you.

Answer
Hi Duane,
Yes, the engines use the same Nippondenso alternators, but if the case numbers are not identical (...32 vs ...33) then the outputs are different (90 amp vs 120 amp) so the ability to run accessories would differ. But both would work on either engine.
You are welcome, 'glad to be of service.
