Chrysler Repair: Changing headlight bulb, chrysler sebring convertible, torx head screws

Question
Can't figure how to get at & change the headlight bulb in my 1999 Chrysler Sebring convertible.  There is absolutely no room to access the bulb from behind the headlight.  Any help you can provided would be greatly appreciated, thanks !

Answer
Hi Ken,
In addition to looking for screws behind the headlight assembly, also take a look at the top edge of the assembly.
If there aren't any screws there, then it may be necessary to remove the plate that runs across the top of the radiator shroud to get a better look at the back of the assembly.

Hi Ken,
I have not looked into that issue on the Sebring, but other Chrysler Corp models of that era have a headlamp 'assembly' which can be removed as a unit by pulling it foward, then you gain access to the bulb once you have revealed the back side of the assembly. So from the engine compartment side see if you can find a couple of torx head screws located at the corners of where you would project the edges of the assembly to be located, remove those screws and see if the whole unit doesn't then free up to be pulled forward out the front of the car, giving you good access then to the rear of the entire assembly. Just turn the bulb retainer a quarter turn to release the bulb holder. Make sure that you don't get any grease or fingerprints on the new bulb's glass surface (clean with rubbing alcohol if necessary).
Let me know if this approach works for you.
