Answer
Hi Arlon,
If the doors appear to go thru the full range of motion, but are not centered (open too far, don't close completely, or the reverse) that can be fixed by noticing there is an oblong adjustment collar on the end of each torsion rod just at the interface panel between the middle section and the headlamp door section. The collars have a set screw which if you loosen it will allow you to reposition the range of motion of the doors, individually. So take a look thru the center grille to see the adjustment collars, or alternatively look up from underneath the car. You may want to remove the grill or you may be able to reach up from under the car to loosen the set screw. I believe it takes a allen head wrench. The motor replacement is pretty straight forward if the problem is beyond adjustment. I have the 2 pages from the shop manual that describe how to do that and would be glad to xerox and postal mail them to you if you will responed, giving me a postal mailing address.
