Chrysler Repair: convertible leaking, rear wheel wells, wire colors

Question
1997 sebring convertible.  Every time it rains the left rear floor gets soaked.  Yesterday We t had a 1 1/2 hour torrential rain and both back floor wells filled up with water and also the front floors (not as bad though).  We did find the plugs in the rear wheel wells at the back.  Gallons of water flooded out of the holes.  We just had another dumping of rain and the back interior floor well on the drivers side filled up again.  Since we pulled the plugs what could the other problem.  Also, with the water in the vehicle it burnt a couple of fuses, which we replaced.  However, the stereo doesn't work now.  There is no sound.  I noticed a black box underneath the front passenger seat - is this for the stereo?  Could the speak wires have shorted out?
Please stop the flow!

Answer
Hi Carol,
The continuing flood may well be due to some debris inside panel under the 1/4 window re-clogging the plug on that side, so take a thin wire and clean out the drain passageway.
On the Black box and the non-radio function you have me there. I don't have a manual for the Sebring and haven't seen a similar Chrysler model with a box under the passenger seat. Check the fuses again to see if you find one for the radio or if you have the deluxe system for the amp which may be in the trunk. See is you can trace where the wires for the box are coming from or going to, or alternatively send me the wire colors and perhaps I can associate them with the box function based on the colors. Chrysler is consistent in wire coloring between their models.
