Chrysler Repair: power window motor replacement, haynes publication, interior door panel

Question
Hello, I seem to have possibly a window track or roller problem on the driver side of a 99' model Chrysler LHS, 4 door sedan.  My question is how to correctly remove the interior door panel to actually access the mechanism.  The motor itself still seems strong but the window is dropping toward the front. I can lift the window up approx 1" or so.  I can also manually orient the window level to allow full closure.  I'm assumming the entire window unit is built together, I just don't want to damage the interior.  Thank you

Answer
Hi Greg,
I have a copy of the Haynes publication covering the '93-7 LHS body and there are 3 pages that describe what you need to do to replace/repair the window mechanism and also has several illustrations that are necessary to visualize what the text is describing. So if the body of your '99 is identical to that of the 93-7 model it would apply. I can easily xerox copy the pages and postal mail them to you without charge if that is to your liking. Just respond with an address to which I should mail the materials. There are some important do's and dont's in the window removal process so I would urge you to get either these materials or a manual from a local library if there happens to be one near you with a good collection of repair manuals.
