Chrysler Repair: Fuel rail leak, chrysler dealer, fuel rails

Question
I have a 1990 New Yorker 3.3L. The fuel rails leak where the u-turn attaches to each rail. How do I seperate the u-turn connector from each rail to replace the o-ring? What tools do I need for this? What else would cause this to leak?

Answer
Hi John,
I haven't personally worked with that engine but I did look into a similar leak on the 3.5 (which is not an identical fuel rail however). The dealer parts department showed me that the rail was a single assembly that could not be repaired so I had to tell the questioner the bad news. I would check at the Chrysler dealer, and if there are parts, the drawings they have on their computer might help you to see how it is constructed.
