The Body Comtrol Module for the wipers no longer works.  What part number do I need to have it replaced?  Do you have the part?  1996 Chrysler Town and Country Van, 3.8 engine.  No past history problems.

Hi Jack,
The body control module is a single unit and so parts of it cannot be replaced, its all or nothing. I just volunteer to answer questions, no parts sold by me or allexperts as fas as I know, but maybe some parts dealers are tied in with them. A Chrysler dealership parts dept could tell you the part number and how much they charge for it.
Now to the more interesting issue. How do you know it is the body control module that is bad? There are several other parts to consider as possible causes for whatever is your problem. If you are sure of the b.c.m., then ignore this line of questioning. However if you want to describe the problem and tell me how the situation has been analyzed so far that would be useful to know. The b.c.m. is easy to replace, but it may not be the cause. I don't have wiring diagrams for late model vans, but I do have them for the '96 Cirrus/Stratus that is probably similar to your van.
So tell me exactly how the system is malfunctioning now, if you want any feedback on what you might try.
