Chrysler Repair: Fuses, green fuse, 2000 chrysler 300m

Question
I have a very simple question for you.  My friend drives a 2000 chrysler 300M, and her heat went out.  One of the thoughts we had is that it might be a fuse, as it's happened to my other friend ford ranger.  We don't have the owners manual, so I was wondering what type of fuse we need, and which fuse I need to change to try this.  Thank you

Mike

Answer
Hi Mike,
I assume that by the heater 'going out' that the air blower is no longer working (as opposed to there not being sufficient heat even though the blower is working). If the blower is not working then starting with the fuse is a good idea. I don't have wiring diagrams for the 300M  but if it is similar to other models you would look for a 30 amp (light green) fuse in the fuse box in the cabin, which usually is under the dash on the driver's side. There is usually a key list on the box or a label on each fuse and you would look for the one for the 'Heater-A/C Blower'. Let me know if I misunderstood your question or the fuse is not the reason for the non-function of the blower.
