Chrysler Repair: Fuses and electrical fires, 1993 chrysler lebaron, chrysler lebaron

Question
On Dec 21 I took my 1993 Chrysler LeBaron LE 6 cyl to MAACO to be painted. Less than 48 hours later, the manager of MAACO called to inform me they had painted the car, but it had caught on fire in the parking lot and was a total loss.  He reported they had pulled the car out of the garage to remove a car which was in front of my car, leaving it idling in the asphalt lot (for approx ten minutes).  Another employee noticed flames coming out on the passenger side of the car next to the windshield. MAACO's insurance company notified me today that MAACO is not responsible, since the insurance company has determined the car was damaged by an electrical fire.  My question:  Wouldn't the fuses prevent an electrical fire?  Is it possible a car left idling would burst into flames?  I would really appreciate your help.  This car did not have any mechanical issues...that is why I was having it painted (paint job was failing on the roof of the car...to bare grey metal)Thank you for your assistance.
