Chrysler Repair: fan motor, vacuum lines, radiator fan

Question
where is and how do i get the fan motor out of my 1989 new yorker?

Answer
Hi Chad.
The heater fan motor is on the right hand end of the heater-a/c unit under the dash. You begin by removing the glove box:
pull glove box lamp out and disconnect wiring
pull deck lid release switch out and disconnect wiring
remove 7 screws around glove box opening
remove assembly.
then you will have access to the heater-a/c unit right hand end:
remove the 2 vacuum lines for the air recirc. door and disconnect the fan motor plug
remove 2 screws at the top of blower housing securing it to the unit cover
remove 5 screws from around blower housing and separate blower housing from unit
remove 3 screws securing the blower and wheel assembly to the a/c housing and separated the assembly from the unit
That should get it out. Let me know if your question was about the radiator fan, I assumed that you were asking about the interior fan.
