Chrysler Repair: 1979 Chrysler Cordoba, chrysler cordoba, nees

Question
My car will start first thing in the morning and will run fine until you stop and turn it off. After sitting for awhile it will not start. My husband replaced several parts (fuel pump, choke pull-off, choke thermostat, ignition coil) on it and then yesterday I was driving to town and it sputtered a couple of times and then died. I couldn't get it to start after sitting there for over an hour. I called a tow truck and when they got there it started just fine. I have been told that it is either a fuel problem or an ignition problem. I am hoping to get a more specific answer if possible.

Answer
When the car does not start, the carb. nees to be checked for
fuel"via the acc. pump"and the coil needs to be checked
for a spark, this is basic .howerver, many times the ignition
module will fail when hot ,but, when cooled down will work
again.have him tap on the distributor and wiggle the wires
goen to the module when warm, sometimes if the part is week,
it will cause the engine to miss or die.tm
