Chrysler Repair: Town & Country Van Ignition, chrysler town, locksmith

Hi there...

We have a 1999 Chrysler Town & Country Mini-Van. Since yesterday we have been unable to get any of the keys to turn the ignition. Both the primary key and the valet key won't turn the ignition at all. The ignition slot will receive the key, the key will open the doors... it will do everything but turn the ignition over.

Any idea what would be causing this, and what we can do to fix it? We will be calling a Locksmith to come and take a look at it (not sure what a Locksmith can do... since the key is working).

Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

this could be in the compuiter it will have to be reset try takeing off the pos. cable for one min and then hook it back up and see if it turns over . is the starter good also if does not start it will have to be checked by a dealer to check the reprogam in the compuiter pete
