Chrysler Repair: 2.2L Head Gasket Replacement, head gasket replacement, chrysler laser

I am looking at buying a 1986 Chrysler Laser Turbo with a 2.2L engine.  The owner says that it needs a new head gasket.  How difficult is a head gasket to replace on a 2.2?  in a Laser?  Thank you!

hello

this is not a hard task with the turbo it can be a littile harder because it as to be removed. Other wise of that it is 3 hours of labor and 75 dollors for the uper head set which is all gaskets . I would get a book made by hanes it will give you step by step how to remove the turbo and the head . Good luck to you pete
