Classic/Antique Car Repair: 1936 chrysler brakes, rear cylinders, wheel cylinder

Question
I have a 1936 Chrysler Airstream. I can't get the air out of the brake lines. I replaced both front cylinders, rebuilt the rear cylinders, replaced all the hoses and rebuilt the master cylinder. I have bled the system no less the 6 times still no pedal, still air in the lines. I am bleeding using just the pedal I am sure a power bleed would help. Please advise.

Thanks
Joe

Answer
There are several reasons that could be the culprit here. First it is possible that the one way check valve in the end of the master cylinder is defective or installed backwards. There may be an adjustment problem with the master cylinder push rod. One of the ports in the bottom of the master cylinder reservoir could be plugged. One of the wheel cylinder cups could be in backwards.
