Question
Classic/Antique Car Repair: What is this body from?, gm cars, gm car
old car 1
Hi,
I came across this old frame in an old=growth tree line, while deer hunting. I am not sure what it is from and no family members could recall who might have placed it there. Do you know what I am looking at? There is a label on the frame that says Fisher and the picture of a carriage.
Thank you,
Glenn

Answer
It is no doubt a body part from a GM car in the late twenties to early thirties. The logo that you describe is the Fisher Body logo and they built the bodies for GM cars until GM bought them out.The photo is too small to give any better answer than that. If you want to e mail me a photo that I can blow up perhaps we can identify it a little better. sears.brad@gmail.com. Remember that early cars used heavy metal.
