But It Needs To Be Fixed. Any Suggestions Would Help I Fairly New To This.  Dan

Answer
I have fixed dozens of these. Just get the repair kit and the tool to remove the Gage and fix it. The tool costs about $5.00. If you are in a club, someone will have the tool. Get the parts from Snyders or some other supplier. You will have to have the gas level below the Gage to keep the excitement down. Just drain it out. Put in the new cork or rubber float, the gaskets and glass and whatever else you need. It's an easy fix. Get the model a mechanics handbook by Andrews. About $35. It will show you what to do on almost everything. Great book. Get only the red one. Don't need the others.
Good luck and let me know if I can be of more help.
Jack
