I can't find the release to open the gas cover to fill this thing!

Now here is a car I can't help you with. A hot rod Model A!!!  Push on the door, that may open it. Next, look around the sill on the left side. Down near the left side of your seat mount. Glove box may hold the release. Could be in the rear wheel opening. It all depends on where the guy who built it put the release.
