Answer
Hello Bobbie,

While I'm a little confused on your bolt pattern description, I believe what you have is a "wide-block" 318 V-8, one of most reliable engines Chrysler ever made. Your particular series was introduced in 1957 and went to 1966, replaced by a newer design, called the LA Series, also 318 CID, which ran from 1967 to the early 90's. Many parts are common between the 2 series and parts availability is excellent.

Horsepower was approximately 230 with a 2 BBl carb, 250 with a 4BBL. You likely have the former.

If you care to send a picture of it to me, I can make a positive id but am about 95%.

Best of luck to you with this fine car!

Bob
