I have this Buick Eight Special, but I don't know the year.

Can you assist me at all?

From what I can see in the picture it is a 1953. There should be a tag on the cowl in the engine compartment. That tag will have the identification numbers for the car and that tag can be decoded. But one of the numbers will start with either 52 or 53. That will be the year. The straight eight engine was used by Buick in all their cars until 1953. The Super and Roadmaster went to the V-8 while the Special retained the straight eight. But again my bet is with the 53. The 53 and the 52 looked almost identical.Good luck with the car they were nice cars when they were new, rear highway cruisers.
