pontiac emblem plate I was wondering if you could tell me where this goes on the Pontiac and for what year?

This appears to be a trunk emblem for a mid-thirties to 1948 car, all body styles. The bevel at the bottom is so it will fit over the trunk latch or even a center reflector/tailight.

I'm sorry I can't identify it more specifically as I did a bit of research on this--people don't take many pictures of the rear end's of their cars! If this range doesn't clue you in to the year, talk to the Pontiac-Oakland club in your local area. They will surely have an expert that will identify your picture quickly.
