Classic/Antique Car Repair: 53 Chevy floor metal replacement, hemmings motor news, stock answer

The floors on my '53 Chevy 210 4 door sedan need replacement. I've seen universal floor pan kits, but from the illustrations they don't seem to accodomate access to the master cylinder or the bolting in of the front seat. It's also difficult to tell how much modification may be necessary. What do you think might be the best strategy?

There are many companies that supply parts for old cars and you will find them in Hemmings. www.hemmings.com. There are several choices of companies that offer custom fit and you will find them in Hemmings.
