Classic/Antique Car Repair: 1931 buick, jensen healeys, vintage car clubs

Question
I have a 1931 buick 8-66-s what makes that call rare.

Answer
Good Morning Kevin,

Well for starters, it is a very beautiful car, and made in America and I would guess that not many have survived the years.  As far as "how really rare" that vehicle is, I would suggest that start by doing some internet searching for vintage Buick clubs and interest groups.  Additionally, I would try to contact some museums and see if they know or maybe they can point you to places you can contact to find out the stats on that car.  Also, there are big events in Hershey PA and Scottsdale AZ where vintage cars are shown and sold....and maybe you can contact the organizers of those events to see what info you can find.  I don't recall the names, but with a bit of digging I am sure you'll find out.

Otherwise, I wish you the best and I hope you enjoy your Buick.

In case you didn't notice, I volunteered to answer questions that relate to “Automotive Wooden Interior Trim” - Specifically the “Real” wood trim parts found in Jaguars, Mercedes-Benz, Rolls-Royce, Bentleys, BMWs, Jensen Healeys, Austin Healeys, Triumphs - etc. etc. etc.

Should you or any of your fellow automotive enthusiasts have interior wood trim in their vehicles....and IF that wood is having trouble.....I can help.

Thank you.

Also for what it is worth, I would think that you might want to search for classic and vintage car clubs in your area.  Many folks in clubs are very helpful people and may be able to help you find your answer...making a friend or two in that "world" would be very helpful as well.  Who knows, maybe one of those folks has one of those cars or can assist you personally with the answer to your question.

(I would appreciate you taking the time to Rate my response....thanks)
