Classic/Antique Car Repair: 1925 Studebaker Window Regulator, hemmings motor news, dick meyers

We are restoring a 1925 Studebaker Big Six and need the threaded block in the window regulator mechanism for three of the four doors. What we have found in our doors are homemade blocks carved out of plastic and held in with aluminum wire instead of rivets.Any info on a source for these parts or drawings would be greatly appreciated. My stock answer for “where can I find….” Is to latch on to a copy of Hemmings Motor News, the old car hobbies classified bible. There are many companies that supply parts for old cars, trucks, and now RV’s and you will find them in Hemmings. www.hemmings.com
