i have a 1950 plymouth p19 deluxe that needs a fuel sending unit. jc whitney offers a universal unit that works in the 10 to 78 ohm range. do you know if this range will work correctly with my car. i have a 6 volt positive ground system. thanks

I'm sorry but I don't know.  I can help you on Model A's, but not the '50 Ply.
Find a plymouth car club and join it.  You could contact the Walter P Chrysler club and ask them.  Here is the link.
