Classic/Antique Car Repair: 1967 Impala 283 firing order, firing order, intake manifold

I have a 1967 Impala, and was wondering if you could tell me the correct firing order?

Answer
The firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2. Number one is the first cylinder nearest the radiator on the drivers side of the engine and goes 1-3-5-7, while the passengers side of the engine is 2-4-6-8. The firing order should also be stamped on the intake manifold and the cylinder numbers are cast into the intake manifold runners right over each cylinder.
