why does the transmission oil leak out after driving for awhile( when parked) and why does the speedometer not work?

i can not answer specifically without the cars specifics. make, year, model, miles. also if you could tell me approx where the puddle is in relation to the parked car i would have a better idea what part of the transmission is leaking. example is the puddle right under the drivers seat or by the engine bay rear section by the windshield. as much detail as possible will help me to help you, also please check that you are not overfilled, check the level with the engine running. talk to you soon  diana how did your issue with the leak turn out. i did not hear back from you. if all is well could you please rate my advise to you. thank you
