Classic/Antique Car Repair: 41 chevy leaking rear seal, main bearing, rear seal

Question
I have a 41 chevy 216 has a leaking rear seal, the shop has replaced twice already yet it still is leaking, any advice? Thank you

Answer
There are several oil galley plugs behind the flywheel that can leak. When they do they drip down over the crankshaft and appear to be a rear main leak. Or the rear main bearing could have excessive clearance and causing the seal to wipe out almost as soon as you restart the engine.
