Classic/Antique Car Repair: 67 Newport Custom, changing motor mounts, turn signal problems

Question
DICK- THANK YOU FOR YOUR GREAT ADVICE ON BUYING A 67 NEWPORT FOR MY SON. HE ABSOLUTELY LOVES THIS CAR!HOWEVER THERE ARE THREE ISSUES I MUST ADDRESSES BEFORE RYAN CAN DRIVE THIS BEAST OF A CAR #1-THE MOTOR MOUNTS ARE SHOT AND NEED TO BE REPLACED.WHERE DO WE LIFT/JACK UP THE MOTOR TO SLIP OUT THE OLD AND PUT IN THE NEW?WE REALLY NEED TO CONTAIN THIS BEAST,ALL 345 HORSE POWER {IS THIS MOTOR WHAT IS CONSIDERED A 383 STROKER?} #2-BRAKE POWER BOOSTER IS DEFECTIVE AND I NEED TO ORDER A NEW ONE.THIS 67 CAME WITH ALL DRUM BRAKES AND THE GUY AT ADVANCE AUTO PARTS ASKED IF IT HAS A BRACKET OR NOT,HOW DO I KNOW?ALSO SHOULD I GO AHEAD AND ORDER THE BOOSTER WITH OR WITHOUT THE MASTER CYLINDER,WITH A NEW MASTER IS ABOUT $20.00 MORE.THE ONE ON THIS CAR SEEMS FINE WITH NO LEAKS AND I WAS TOLD IF I DON'T REPLACE THE MASTER CYLINDER THEN I WON'T HAVE TO BLEED THE BRAKE'S WHICH IS NOT A BIG DEAL CONSIDERING THE BRAKE BLEEDERS ARE NOT RUSTED OR FROZEN UP!{46,000 MILES AND NO MICHIGAN WINTERS} #3-WE HAVE ONE BRAKE LIGHT ON THE RIGHT SIDE THAT WE CAN'T GET TO WORK.WE REPLACED THE 1157 BULB TWICE AND NOTHING.THE TAIL LIGHT WORKS ON ON THE RIGHT/PASSENGER SIDE AND THE BRAKE LIGHT WORKS ON THE LIFT/DRIVERS SIDE.COULD THIS BE A BRAKE SWITCH SEEING THE BRAKE LIGHT DOES WORK ON ONE SIDE?
RYAN AND I WOULD APPRECIATE ANY HELP WITH THESE MATTERS...
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE DICK,WE LOOK FORWARD TO HEARING FROM YOU! RANDALL & RYAN S.  MUSKEGON,MICHIGAN

Answer
Thank you for the kind words on feedback.

The way to tell which engine is in the car is to look for the numbers stamped into the front of the block below the right head.  It will probably have to be carefully cleaned to see them, but look for a "44" or a "43" indicating a 440, or a "38" indicating a 383.  The body tag on the left front inner fender also has this information, but it is in a code, and I don't have the code book.   The W.P.Chrysler club will be able to help with decoding the body tag - the tag also gives the colors, other options etc.

With the 4bbl carburetor, I'm guessing it is the 330 HP version of the 383, which is a very fine engine, powerful enough to get one into trouble if not driven sensibly.

My trip has to go well - I'm driving an old Chrysler!

The trip is to the Imperial club annual meeting in Sacramento CA, about 500 miles from my home.
