Questioni have purchased anew tank and sending unit,however they came with two different gaskets and lock rings,either set will work,but im not sure which set to use,my chilton does not give any info on the subject
AnswerIf you can't seen any difference in them, and they both work to seal the sending unit to the tank, I don't see why there is any problem.
Maybe I didn't understand your question right; if you think you may have been given the wrong sender or tank, post a follow up question and I can look up the right part numbers for them - I don't have part numbers for the gasket or locking ring, so you'll have to trust your eyes on that issue.
