Classic/Antique Car Repair: 1936 ford philco radio, hemmings motor news, philco radio

how hard would it be to leave the original face, knobs etc, and put in a new updated radio under the dash etc, do you think it would be less costly than repairing whats there. thank you for any input, do you know of any one that has done that?

I have a modern radio in the glove box of my 41 Ford. There are companies that specialize in retroofitting old radios. My stock answer for “where can I find….” Is to latch on to a copy of Hemmings Motor News, the old car hobbies classified bible. There are many companies that supply parts for old cars and you will find them in Hemmings. www.hemmings.com
