Classic/Antique Car Repair: mold removal, liquid detergent, mold removal

Question
I have a 1972 LeMans that has gotten wet and molded the interior.  What can I use to remove the mold and not bleach out the vinyl seats, dash pad, door panels etc.?  Thank You!

Answer
Hi Ken:
The first thing to do is dry the car our. Summer-time heat is the best way to do this. Otherwise use fans and warm dry air. Once the mold is dry (and dead), you can brush off much of the spores with a hand broom.

Then make a solution of 50 water and 50 vinegar and add a touch of liquid detergent and wash the molded areas. This should remove any remaining mold and eliminate the musty smell as well.
